Gym membership, repetitive runs and dance classes could all be taking their toll on your motivation so why not consider alternative ways to meet your exercise needs?
Raising oxygen levels is integral to heart health and some of the best ways to achieve this is through cardiovascular workouts.
Still, weight training also plays a role in keeping healthy, so do not underestimate the value of carrying the shopping in from the car.
If you have been avoiding a clear out of the attic, swap your Saturday gym routine for this instead.
Carrying items up and down stairs, outdoors and into bins will force you to work your arms.
Take care with your back though and don't try to be a hero by loading up on too much.
Similarly, if you're someone who's used to receiving a Saturday morning delivery from the local supermarket, cancel it for this weekend.
Get down to the store yourself and carry the bags home while you walk.
Of course, exceptions can be made if it's overly heavy - grab a friend to help.
