Wales must cut carbon emissions 'massively'

Wales must drastically cut its carbon emissions in order to meet its own targets, a new report has found.
A briefing paper produced by the National Assembly's research department revealed that emissions need to be reduced by 10.5 per cent by the end of next year, WalesOnline.co.uk reports.
The study found that carbon dioxide emissions per head in the country were higher than any other of the four UK nations, meaning those living there may want top invest in a portable oxygen canister to carry around with them.
According to the paper "Wales had performed inconsistently in reducing greenhouse gas emissions over the past 17 years," the news provider reports.
Those in Reading may also want to invest in portable oxygen equipment after the Reading Chronicle revealed that pollution in the city is getting worse.
The newspaper claimed that 43 of the 51 nitrogen oxide stations in the town, which measure pollution, had seen rise between 2007-08, the last reliable data collected.
