Unusual relaxation tips for stressed-out oxygen users

Portable oxygen is one product people can use to help them revitalise when they are feeling stressed and worn out and these individuals may also benefit from some unusual relaxation techniques.

Steve Finnemore, a specialist massage therapist, described some of the lesser-known treatments available to those under strain.

One of these is Reiki, which he said has been around for a while but is "still quite unusual".

"It is based on balancing a person's energy and enables a deep sense of relaxation and calm to develop within them," the specialist explained.

Another treatment he mentioned was Gentle Touch Reflexology, which he said was one of his favourites.

Mr Finnemore said this technique also works on people's energy and can leave them feeling "completely de-stressed".

Mindfulness based master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and author of Transforming Stress to Success Michelle Clemon recently suggested those feeling under strain should cut back on the amount of coffee they drink, as caffeine can increase the production of the hormone cortisol, which could increase their anxiety levels.
