Tiger Woods' wife 'wants oxygen therapy room'

An oxygen therapy room is among the possessions Tiger Woods' wife is determined to take from her ex-partner, it has been reported.

According to radaronline.com, Elin Nordegren would like to take the sportsman's $80 million (£54 million) mansion on Jupiter Island as part of any divorce settlements.

The property includes a room specifically built with oxygen equipment to enable Woods to better recover from injuries sustained while out playing golf.

Ms Nordegren's decision means the star may never get to live in the beach-front house that has been developed to help him get his sporting career back on track after taking a break from the game following revelations of his affairs with a string of women.

The move, however, could prove beneficial for Woods as it would keep his children in the Florida region, the source added.

It was recently suggested by Channel News Africa that the Fifa World Cup witnessed a somewhat lacklustre opening set of fixtures because the players lacked oxygen in the South African climate.
