Specialist: Oxygen therapy jumpstarts natural healing
Oxygen therapy is the most efficient method of delivering oxygen to cells throughout the body, a specialist has claimed.
Dr Daniel Silverstein, a New York State licensed and board-certified internal medicine physician now practicing at Patients Medical, has been extolling the virtues of the service.
Regarding the procedure, the expert explained: "It jumpstarts the body's natural healing by directly stimulating your cells to grow and regenerate."
Dr Silverstein stated the therapy can be especially beneficial for patients with diabetic ulcers, serious wounds, blood loss and burns, while further tests are beginning to suggest it could be used to treat autism and stroke patients in the future.
The substance is essential for life and oxygen equipment can provide the "extra stimulus" some patients require in order to make a speedier and more complete recovery, he added.
