Portable oxygen to relieve pollution intake?

People struggling to cope with the effects of pollution in the UK may wish to
buy oxygen to protect their health, as it has been revealed the substance may be used to aid those exposed to smog in other countries.
According to IndianExpress.com, there are plans for traffic policemen in Vadodara in the Indian state of Gujarat to have access to oxygen chambers as they are constantly facing increasing levels of pollution.
Y A Shaikh, police inspector for traffic in the city, said: "Traffic policemen across the country bear the brunt of pollution and work non-stop during peak hours."
The official added the move is an attempt to protect the help of the workers.
Sources claimed at least six traffic cops have complained of heart and lung diseases in the last year, the source noted.
An article recently written for squidoo.com claimed portable oxygen can provide much-needed clear air and help energise the minds of users.
