Portable oxygen to help endurance runners?

Individuals hoping to run long distances might find using portable oxygen could help fuel their endeavours.
Writing for San Diego Newsroom, Michelle Wallace noted the provision of oxygen is an essential component for a successful endurance race.
The expert noted some people are lucky enough to be born with the ability to cover long circuits without tiring, but claimed most people need to find other ways of gaining that extra energy.
Ms Wallace observed: "The rest of us mortals have to train long and hard to get the most endurance out of our bodies as possible."
Another way to achieve this is by stretching, she added, as the practice allows muscles, ligaments and nerves to open up, enabling more blood and oxygen to pass through.
Sara Stanner, a member of the Daily Telegraph's LifeCoach team, recently noted a lack of oxygen may be one of the main reasons an obese person finds it difficult to maintain long periods of exercise.
