Portable oxygen prevents family tragedy

Portable oxygen has been used by a family to help prevent a tragedy while they holidayed on a boat.
Eric Ridenhour, his wife and two children, from Montgomery County, US, utilised oxygen tanks for resuscitation when their vessel suffered a gas leak, Fox 2 Now reports.
Mr Ridenhour discovered his family members unresponsive when returning to the 44 ft boat after turning on its generator around an hour earlier to heat up for breakfast.
He dragged the three of them out and spotted the oxygen canisters, which his father uses to help him breathe.
The 40-year-old commented: "It was the worst day of my life to begin with and it ended up being the best. I got my family back but I had to almost lose them first."
It recently emerged a number of pets were saved from a house fire in Chicago after firefighters used oxygen masks to improve their breathing.
