Oxygen treatment embraced by Madonna
Madonna's latest attempts to defy the ageing process have involved oxygen treatment, according to reports.
Apparently desperate to iron out each line and wrinkle, the 51-year-old pop star has turned to oxygen facials as a way of keeping her face looking young, ShowbizSpy reported.
According to the website, a source told a magazine that the queen of pop is "obsessed" with oxygen use and cosmetic treatments.
"She likes to be a guinea pig and the first to get something done. She also experiments with various skin creams," the source commented.
Oxygen treatment is becoming an increasingly common form of skin care and is especially useful after cosmetic and laser surgery procedures, where it has been shown to lessen the time it takes for a patient to recover.
When its use is combined with certain vitamins and minerals it can help skin cells to become nourished and look refreshed, something that Madonna is reportedly keen on experiencing.
Separate reports have suggested that Madonna may be rekindling her romance with model Jesus Luz.
