Oxygen treatment can be of benefit to deep-sea divers suffering from brain decompression illness, it has been advised.
According to New York Injury News, the therapy has also been seen to offer benefits to patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

A US trial is now set to get underway in order to ascertain any further effects of oxygen therapy.
Dr Harch commented: "The beauty of it is there are no side effects and [it can be done] years and years after the injury."
