Oxygen therapy 'vital in battle against wrinkles'

Wrinkles and other physical signs of ageing are directly attributed to a decline in natural oxygen pressure and the only way people can beat this is to replenish their oxygen levels, a skincare expert has claimed.

Speaking to MSN Life and Style, Julie Cichocki, global treatment developer for Karin Herzog, said that a lack of oxygen causes the skin to deteriorate over time and that there are a number of treatments available which women can use to improve their complexion.

One such solution is oxygen therapy, which can give the skin back its luminosity and vibrancy to make it appear healthier.

"Ageing is directly attributed to a decline in natural oxygen pressure as we age and the only way of redressing this depletion - and putting the oxygen back in the skin - is via hyperbaric oxygen pressure," she told the news provider.

One celebrity who has embraced oxygen therapy to boost her skin is Cher, a source told the National Enquirer.
