Oxygen therapy 'made an amazing difference'

Oxygen therapy has been seen to make a huge difference to one young man's life after he was injured in a car accident two years ago.

Following the accident, Drew Christy was left in a coma for four months and fighting for survival, Banner Graphic reported.

However, after undergoing a series of oxygen treatments at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana in Indianapolis back in November, he has been said to enjoy a significant improvement in his health.

"It's made an amazing difference," said Drew's father Mark Christy. "His pain level is down."

Mr Christy went on to add that since undergoing the oxygen treatments, Drew has been able to hold his head up better and propel his wheelchair without assistance.

Being administered oxygen-enriched air recently helped a young woman in Nottingham overcome the effects of a severe allergic reaction, after a trace of mushroom was discovered in her food.
