Oxygen therapy 'helps the most'

A former teaching assistant who suffered from a stroke in 2009 has said undergoing oxygen therapy is helping her to recover the most.
Bridgette French-Harbison had a stroke in January of last year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour the month before, BrandonInfo.com reports.
The 27-year-old explained that she has made progress in the past 12 months after undergoing a series of oxygen treatments, which she said has helped her the most.
Ms French-Harbison added that she hopes her health will improve by breathing oxygen-enriched air to such an extent that she will be able to return to the classroom in the future.
According to the site, the treatment will increase the flow of oxygen to her tissues and in turn help to speed up the healing process.
Dr Tahin Sahini, senior consultant at the Apollo Indraprastha Hospital in New Delhi, recently told Med India that without the process of oxygenation, normal healing cannot take place.
