Oxygen therapy 'changes woman's life'

A Florida woman has revealed how a week of oxygen therapy has given her a new lease of life, helping her to run, cut down on smoking and improve the condition of her skin.

Lynne Gordon, from Jacksonville, revealed that she was able to chase after her kitten following a few days of breathing oxygen-enriched air, something which she was unable to do beforehand.

As well as improving her lung capacity and skin conditions, she found that her home oxygen equipment helped her avoid a hangover following a night of heavy drinking.

"I also awoke the next morning without any signs of a hangover. My mind was clear and my body felt absolutely wonderful," Ms Gordon said.

Carmel Aaron, a qualified biologist, extolled the virtues of breathing oxygen-enriched air to the Sun Times, claiming it can be beneficial for athletes and sufferers of lung diseases, such as emphysema and asthma.
