Oxygen therapy 'can treat numerous disorders'

A variety of ailments are being treated using oxygen equipment, it has been suggested.

Reporting for Housatonic Times, Scott Benjamin talked to Bonnie Zschunke, who has operated Brookfield Family Chiropractic for around a decade at the White House in Brookfield, the US.

The health expert described how her new wellness centre includes hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which has been used to treat a vast range of illnesses and injuries.

Ms Zschunke and her colleague Rachel van Scoy told the journalist how individuals suffering from chronic fatigue and brain concerns had requested oxygen treatment.

Sports enthusiasts with physical activity-related injuries and patients with Lyme disease and multiple sclerosis have also visited the facility, the pair added.

It was recently revealed oxygen masks had helped a woman in Manchester survive a house fire, as she was administered the treatment after inhaling too much smoke when a pan of food set ablaze in her kitchen.
