Oxygen therapy 'can reverse sleep apnoea'

Oxygen therapy could be used in order to reserve sleep apnoea, a condition which can lead to excessive sleepiness.
According to Dr James LeFanu, there are a number of reasons why a person may suddenly begin to start feeling increasingly drowsy in the middle of the day.
But he told the Daily Telegraph that in cases where the sleepiness during the day is as a result of excessively loud snoring at night, sleep apnoea could prove to be the diagnosis.
He explained that this can be reversed through oxygen therapy, as this would increase the amount of oxygen that is making it through to the brain.
"The dropping-off episodes can be minimised by taking regular scheduled naps during the day, especially after meals," Dr LeFanu added.
Mindfulness based master practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming and author of Transforming Stress to Success Michelle Clemons recently stated that consuming coffee can affect sleep patterns at night.
