Oxygen therapy 'can help stroke victims'

Oxygen therapy can bring a number of benefits to individuals who suffer a stroke, it has been suggested.

The method has been utilised at the San Francisco Institute for Hyperbalic Medicine to enable one such patient to improve his quality of life.

Harbhajan Grewall's condition failed to significantly improve for three years after he became a stroke victim, but oxygen therapy enabled the former community leader to walk again.

Mr Grewall underwent daily treatments at the institute and after 30 sessions he was able to complete two laps of the clinic floor, having previously being unable to get to his feet.

His wife Kuhldeep said: "The change in him was really amazing. He began smiling and laughing … he's a totally new person."

According to the Good Health blog, oxygen therapy can regenerate the cells, making a person feel more alive inside and looking more vibrant thanks to its anti-ageing benefits.
