Oxygen therapy 'a good thing'

People with specific medical conditions can find that oxygen therapy is ideal for alleviating their symptoms, it has been claimed.
According to aahgh.com, people with ailments such as emphysema can greatly benefit from oxygen therapy, as it helps to soothe chest tightness, while people with heart disease can also see positive results after a session of treatment.
"Inhaling pure oxygen is also used to combat carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke inhalation and other conditions that reduce our capacity to use oxygen," the source said.
It added that many athletes have claimed that oxygen therapy has helped to increase their overall performance, with runners, swimmers and cyclists all able to benefit from a session.
Meanwhile, David Bradbury, an expert on the subject, recently told the Swindon Advertiser that the benefits of oxygen therapy are not limited to adults, as he has seen many children benefit from the treatment over the years.
