Oxygen tanks used to help strengthen thinning hair
Oxygen tanks are being used by one beauty centre in Singapore to help strengthen the hair of clients.
Phyto Hair Spa offers five techniques for cleansing and regenerating follicles in order to restore thinning hair - one of which involves the use of oxygen machines, News on Wellness reports.
Specialists use the gas to perform oxygen therapy on the scalp, which helps to detoxify the skin.
The process lasts for around 20 minutes and is followed up with a relaxing massage on the scalp, head and shoulders, before the hair is washed.
Consultant at the spa Ice Wong said the use of oxygen is beneficial, with the process as a whole generating results within three months of treatments, which take place once a week.
Oxygen is also being used at a foot clinic in London, which uses the subastance as part of its hour-long sessions.
WCJB.co.uk reports Margaret Dabbs, in Marylebone, has seen a surge in male clients of late.
