Oxygen tank 'helps woman heal'

The benefits of an oxygen tank have been highlighted by the experiences of one woman.
Dorothy Treptow had dealt with a wound that never properly healed for 20 years after an operation, the Green Bay Gazette reports.
Despite trying a number of options, the incision periodically reopened, causing the lady much distress.
But thanks to the use of a pure oxygen supply at the Wound Healing Center at Bellin Hospital, Wisconsin she has been healed.
"They pump in 100 per cent oxygen through some little holes that they got in the inside," she told the news provider.
The hyperbaric chambers are being used by three infirmaries in the area to treat a number of problems, including diabetes-related wounds, infections and failed skin grafts.
Writing for the Great Falls Tribune, Dan Gold recently noted portable oxygen can be a useful tool for those who have trouble sleeping as it can help relieve the problem.
