Oxygen tank helping footballer regain fitness

Wayne Bridge has been using an oxygen tank in a bid to recover from an injury he picked up prior to the start of the football season.
The Manchester City defender broke a bone in his foot during a pre-season friendly and has revealed he is using a variety of techniques in order to get himself back to full fitness.
"I've been coming in [to the club's training facilities] and sitting in an oxygen tank," the left-back stated, adding he has also been using a rowing machine and exercise bike to help with his rehabilitation.
And the former England international revealed the methods seem to be working, adding: "The injury seems a lot better the past few days."
He said he hopes to return to full training shortly and begin challenging for starting place in City's team.
Oxygen therapy is popular among professional athletes, with the Washington Post recently reporting many American football players are using the substance in order to improve their performance.
