Oxygen news: 'No special gear needed' for yoga

There is no need to buy specialist gear to do yoga, an expert has said, which may encourage those using portable oxygen to remain energised during a fitness regime to give it a try.
Charlotte Watts, a nutritional therapist, yoga teacher and co-author of The De-Stress Diet www.de-stressyourlife.com, said it is important to be comfortable when practising the technique, but participants do not need to spend money on new clothes.
"Your comfy leggings or sweat pants are great if they allow you to move well; older clothing often works best for this reason," she stated.
The expert also advised making sure outfits are not too tight at the waist, as this could restrict the extent to which individuals can twist and bend to reach the required positions.
Ms Watts added wearing clothes that allow people to be aware of the placement of their back, pelvis and knees can help them follow instructions accurately during a yoga session.
Anandi, the sleep guru from thesleepguru.co.uk, recently suggested trying this form of exercise could help individuals get a good night's rest.
