Oxygen news: Keep exercise simple, expert says

People using portable oxygen to help them stay revitalised while they get into shape may be interested in the advice of one expert, who suggested they stick to simple exercises.
Speaking to US news provider the Hillsboro Star-Journal, director of health and fitness at Pine Village in Moundridge Becki Yoder explained working out does not need to be complicated or difficult.
In fact, just buying a pedometer and keeping track of how many steps they have taken a day could help people get used to being more physically active, with the specialist advising individuals should aim to take 10,000 paces in 24 hours - the equivalent of five miles.
"Keep it easy and work on just some basic stretching exercises at first," she recommended.
"The important thing is to try to work all the planes of your body and to strengthen your core muscles," the expert added.
It may not be necessary for people to work out strenuously to improve their health, with Yogalosophy founder Mandy Ingber recently telling Shape magazine walking for half an hour has an impact on wellbeing.
