Oxygen news: Exercise 'could provide a buzz to those who enjoy it'

People using portable oxygen to stay revitalised while they workout could get a buzz from exercise so long as they are enjoying it.

This is the opinion of Ann Finnemore, clinical hypnotherapist and author of stress management and life coaching service Gettingyouthere.co.uk, who told individuals not to bother trying to make themselves stick to a regime they dread.

"If you do exercise because you love it and you have the mental attitude of wanting to do it - you'll carry on doing it and it'll give you a buzz," she claimed.

However, the specialist argued those committing to workouts they do not enjoy will be lucky to last three weeks.

Ms Finnemore advised looking outside of traditional exercise choices like running, warning people not to try to get into jogging just because they think they are supposed to do so.

Cycling, walking or just dancing at home are all good alternative ways of working up a sweat, she suggested.

Joanna Knight, editor of Women's Fitness, recently noted buying home gym equipment is a more cost-effective way to work out than buying a membership to a specialist facility and also means individuals have no excuse not to do some training.
