Oxygen facials 'help makeup application'
While it is well-known that oxygen facials have been said to offer numerous anti-ageing benefits, it could be that the treatment also helps with the application of makeup.
The Blue Water Spa blog states that undergoing the therapy gives the skin a smoother and more moisturised surface, which makes applying makeup a much easier process.
"Because of this, many well-known personalities - most notably Madonna - have turned to oxygen facials, designed to plump and smooth the face immediately with no telltale red splotches left behind," the blog notes.
Delivering oxygen and anti-ageing serum to the face at a high pressure means that the skin should instantly look revived and rejuvenated.
What's more, makeup can be applied straight after the treatment, whereas more traditional facials often require a 12-hour waiting period.
One blogger, writing for Makeup for Life, recently stated that after undergoing an oxygen facial her face looked visibly plumper and less tight.
