Oxygen equipment used in Bobby Zamora injury recovery

Oxygen equipment has been used to help a Premier League football player recover from injury.

Fulham striker Bobby Zamora was treated with oxygen after breaking his leg following a collision with Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Karl Henry.

The England international was administered the substance before being carried off on a stretcher.

Henry told the Wolves website: "I didn't do anything deliberately and I would never try to deliberately hurt anyone."

The player said he was sorry that the damage had been done to Zamora, with whom he shares the same agent and has spent time with as part of the England under-21 set-up.

Despite losing their key attacker, Fulham went on to win the game 2-1 after Moussa Dembele netted the winner in injury time for the London-based club.

Zamora's Fulham teammate Damien Duff has also been reaping the rewards of oxygen equipment as the winger has used the substance to help speed up his recovery from a recent knock.
