Oxygen equipment 'helps patient succeed at international athletics meet'

Oxygen equipment has played a vital role in helping a former fitness instructor win gold at an international athletics meeting, it has been suggested.
Justine Laymond was on oxygen as she battled against a rare lung disease called Lymphangioleiomyomatosis, the Daily Mail reports.
She underwent a successful lung transplant and her recovery has been marked with her haul of six medals at the European Heart and Lung Transplant Games, which were held in Sweden last month.
The 37-year-old said she cannot believe how far she has come since undergoing the surgery.
"I'll be competing in the British Transplant Games in August playing Squash, as well as sprinting, badminton, long jump and the relay," the athlete added.
Superbike rider Randy De Puniet recently revealed oxygen equipment enabled him to return to action sooner than expected following injury.
The racer suffered a double fracture of his left leg but is now ready to compete again after receiving oxygen therapy.
