Oxygen equipment 'clearly paying off' for South Korea

The South Korean football team are reaping the rewards of using oxygen equipment during their preparation for the World Cup finals.
According to the AFP, the decision to wear oxygen masks has "clearly paid off" after the Taeguk Warriors defeated Greece by two goals to nil on Saturday (June 12th).
As well as the masks, the team also used a specially built lounge that had an oxygen generator to pump higher levels of oxygen around the room.
It was an attempt to acclimatise for the tournament, which has five host cities based at more than 3,300 ft above sea level, the source noted.
The South Koreans face Argentina in their next encounter and will be hoping their oxygen systems will again pay dividends.
Defender Kim Nam-II commented: "We believe we can achieve good results as we've done fairly well so far."
Manchester United midfielder Park Ji Sun scored the second of the two goals against the Greeks, who were victorious in the 2004 European Championships.
