Oxygen bars to become nightclub features?

Oxygen bars could soon become commonplace features of nightclubs, if the example of one venue is anything to go by.

Writing for Scotland on Sunday, Anne Kapranos noted the V528 club in Croatia offered revellers the chance to recharge their batteries before hitting the dance floor once again.

The journalist observed: "Featuring its own 15th century chapel turned meditation room complete with oxygen bar, V528 is the place for dancing the night away under the stars."

Visitors could utilise the oxygen equipment to help them stay alert as the evening reaches the early hours.

Ms Kapranos explained the establishment is positioned on the top of a cliff that overlooks the sea.

Punters have to cross the local harbour and scale a number of steps in order to reach the building, she added.

It was recently suggested oxygen could be used to help improve male pampering sessions after the London-based foot clinic Margaret Dabbs revealed men visit an oxygen bar as part of its treatments.
