Oxygen bars to become common gym additions?

Oxygen bars could soon become common features in gymnasiums, if more venues follow the example of one health facility.

Lacey Ultimate Fitness Center in the US is to offer people the opportunity to use an oxygen as part of its services, the Olympian reports.

The facility may be including the oxygen equipment as a way to rejuvenate gym users after hard work-outs, who can also take advantage of a juice bar, massage area and child care services.

Gary Briggs, who is behind the venture, said: "One of the values that has driven my life is health and fitness."

Individuals may wish to visit the oxygen bar after taking part in one of the many courses on offer at the complex, which include yoga, zumba and Pilates.

Other people who may soon be experiencing the benefits of an oxygen bar are participants in the Park Series half marathon in Utah, as abc4.com recently revealed the event will include such a venue.
