Oxygen bar clients 'rely on oxygen to beat hangovers'
Regulars at the Beyond Light Medi-Spa in Greenwood, Indianapolis are so happy with the hangover healing effects of oxygen-enriched air that they ask the owners to open on Sunday so they can recover from Saturday night's partying.
Barbara Parish, a nurse at the facility, told Doublechaser.com that the bar is usually only open from Thursday to Saturday but its clients call saying they need oxygen therapy to recover on Sunday mornings.
She stated that staff there do their utmost to meet the needs of customers who phone and say: "I'm going out partying – can you open Sunday morning?"
Ms Parrish told the website that all it takes is a few breaths of oxygen-enriched air to clear headaches and battle other effects of hangovers.
Breathing oxygen from a can was recently listed among the top 20 user-submitted hangover cures by drinking guide The Drunk Pirate, coming ahead of remedies such as drinking pickle juice and eating sushi.
