Older sportsmen 'would benefit from oxygen equipment'

Oxygen equipment could be utilised for older sportsmen to help them continue to perform at their peak for longer durations, it has been suggested.
Former American football players have revealed they plan to use portable oxygen to help them keep their fitness levels high during an upcoming game, the Napa Valley Register reports.
A number of the best Napa High School and Vintage High School football competitors from across the last 20-or-so years are set to compete in a contest this weekend that will rekindle a fierce rivalry, the source noted.
And the more elderly team members set to take to the field have revealed oxygen will be their secret weapon.
Ted Hayman, a former referee who helped organise the event, said: "We'll probably need a lot of oxygen bottles."
Earlier in the week, Simon Usborne - a reporter for the Daily Telegraph - revealed he used oxygen equipment to help him complete a cycling course that stretched from John O'Groats to Land's End.
