Novak Djokovic considering portable oxygen?

Novak Djokovic may want to buy oxygen in an attempt to return to full fitness.

The tennis ace has been struggling to regain full fitness after experiencing a heat ailment and breathing difficulties, the Globe and Mail reports.

And the athlete claimed he may turn to portable oxygen to help him re-catch his breath after battling to victory against Julien Benneteau during a match at the Rogers Cup.

A medical attendant saw to the competitor in between sets and also as the players switched courts.

Djokovic commented: "I will never ever risk my health to win. My health is the most important thing to me."

Despite his fitness worries, the Serbian was able to despatch his French opponent 7-5, 7-5.

It was recently revealed Superbike rider Randy De Puniet was able to return to action following a double fracture of his left leg faster than first anticipated - after utilising oxygen equipment in his rehabilitation.
