Hydration tips for oxygen-inducing workouts

It is paramount to intake enough fluids before and after pursuing a rigorous oxygen-inducing workout.
According to running4women.com, we lose around a litre of water per day just by going about our regular business.
Alongside that is the fact our body is 70 per cent water, so imagine the impact a hard cardiovascular workout has on our fluid levels?
That is why it is so important to stay hydrated throughout the day, with water integral to maintaining healthy muscles, among other areas of the body.
Experts recommend taking between eight and ten glass of water per day, with a standard glass size set at 250ml.
That is between two and three litres, which might sound like a big challenge but is relatively easy to achieve.
A top tip is to take a water bottle to work and regular top it up during the day so you barely notice how much you're drinking.
Also try to begin the day with a hot glass of water, as this will not only begin the hydration process, but will also warm your body for the day ahead.
