Elle: Oxygen treatment left skin wide awake

Elle magazine has emphasised the benefits of oxygen to the skin, after the organisation tested a product.

A member of the magazine's beauty team recently used an energising mask which was enriched with oxygen, saying that it worked wonders.

After applying the product the star said that she had "noticeably brighter skin", adding: "It's hard to define why, but my face looks less tired, fresher – less like I've been hibernating for the past three weeks."

The use of a personal oxygen tank and mask could have a similar effect, creating wide awake skin.

This was recently backed up by Sonya Dakar, founder of the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverley Hills, which offers oxygen therapy to revitalise faces.

The expert said that it can reduce redness, soreness or blotchiness while giving energy and life back to the skin, adding: "It gives clients a healthy glow that feels like they just had an amazing workout."
