Celebrities using oxygen equipment to stay fresh-faced?

Individuals wanting to look as fresh-faced as the stars they see on the TV may want to consider the anti-ageing benefits of oxygen equipment.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Hazel Davis noted the method is employed by a number of celebrities who wish to keep their looks in peak condition.

These include 60-year-old Richard Branson, Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise and pop singer Kylie Minogue.

Dr Paul Herzog claimed it is lack of oxygen that causes wrinkles to form.

The specialist discovered levels of the substance in skin start to decrease from the age of 14 - reducing to just 70 per cent of what they once were when a person turns 25.

He explained capillaries in the skin become less permeable, which leads to the bloodstream being deprived of oxygen and nutrients.

A recent Japanese study found an overdose of oxygen can help prevent the formation of wrinkles by lessening tissue damage caused by exposure to UVB rays.
