Breathing oxygen-enriched air 'helps various medical conditions'

Breathing oxygen-enriched air can be seen to help the treatment of a whole host of medical conditions, it has been suggested.

Deanna Cohen, writing for the Bank the Money blog, states that oxygen therapy can be helpful in the treatment of a multitude of chronic degenerative health problems, including stroke, diabetic ulcers, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis and atherosclerosis.

Additionally, the therapy is also being tested to ascertain whether it can be a successful treatment for children suffering from autism.

However, she says that while breathing oxygen-enriched air is increasing in popularity as a medical treatment, it is also being used to a greater extent in the sports world to treat professional athletes with injuries.

EZArticles recently advised that portable oxygen canisters can also be useful for people who are in good health, particularly those living in polluted towns and cities who find that they are an "indispensable part of life".
