Breathing oxygen-enriched air 'helps people lose weight'

Breathing oxygen-enriched air can help people who are keen to lose weight shift the pounds, it has been suggested.
The Japan Trend Shop says that oxygen therapy can be particularly useful to those who enjoy jogging or long-distance running, as supplying the body with increased levels of oxygen can help people to run further and push their body harder, CNet News reports.
"An increased supply of oxygen speeds up your body's metabolic engine, burning more calories and stimulating fat loss," it states.
Furthermore, oxygen treatment can also be seen to produce brain-stimulating affects and relieve stress and headaches, while protecting the skin against ageing with an increased supply of oxygen providing the skin with moisture.
Lancaster Skin Therapy has previously advised that when the skin receives the optimal amount of oxygen, it is given a new lease of life and will be able to successfully fight the signs of ageing.
