'There are many benefits' to breathing oxygen

Moreover, the practice can enable people to sleep better and even help them lose weight.

The specialist explained the substance can enable the body to get into an aerobic state and remarked: "In simple terms, aerobic means to get enough oxygen into the bloodstream to convert to fuel to burn fat."

Another advantage of breathing correctly is improved skin tone, Mr White added, as water retention in the skin can be significantly reduced.

Tony Gallagher, one of the Daily Telegraph's Life Coach panellists, recently observed getting adequate levels of oxygen to the brain could help a person combat feelings of stress.
